Hi CV Neighbors,
I’d like to once again invite Century Village residents to our next meeting of the Board Synergy Club, where this week we will offer a free “Basic Computer Skills for Seniors class.”
You can also attend biweekly meetings of our Synergy Club, where we share information that Board members and owners can use to help them navigate through the sometimes confusing rules, bylaws, statutes and other info related to condo living in Century Village, but from a layman’s perspective.
- For example, we just finalized our generic “New Resident Welcome Packet” that associations can tweak to give to each of their new owners or tenants. We will be distributing it to our club’s boards very soon.
- We also do computer and other types of classes, presentations and workshops to assist members, owners and boards.
- For instance, we just did workshops to assist owners to complete the new federally required Beneficial Ownership Information Report (BOIR) as part of the Corporate Transparency Act. Companies are charging anywhere from $150 – $500 are to do this report.
- We will help you do it in 10 minutes or less at no cost! It’s actually quite simple! I have two BOIR step-by-step videos online for our members!
- At our next meeting on August 8th, we’ll present a class on basic computer skills for seniors, as the skills are necessary to to complete tasks, such as capturing your driver’s license to your computer and attaching it to the BOIR to upload it to the cloud with the report. We’ll show you how to make it easy to do this and much more. We can also do more BOIR workshops if needed. We also bring professional guests in to speak about different topics.
There is no charge to join and no dues. Heck, you don’t even have to join! Just come visit with us to see if there’s info you can use to make your condo living easier!
We meet the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month, from 1:30-3 PM, at the Century Village, West Palm Beach, Main clubhouse, Room C. Our next meeting is Thursday, August 8, 2024, at 1:30 pm. So drop by and say hello and bring your questions and suggestions of topics to discuss with you! We’d love to see you!
