WELCOME!

My #1 PRIORITY IS TRANSPARENCY AND COMMUNICATION!

I created this blog for you, the residents of Century Village, to make your voices known! The goal of the blog is to make your compliments and concerns known to all. Give us your comments on topics that you would like discussed at Synergy Club meetings, issues you would like addressed by WPRF and/or UCO. Do you get the help you need? Are your questions answered? You are more than welcome to spread the blog link to all of your friends and family throughout the village to give them an opportunity to speak as well! The only rules are – no profanity, be respectful, no inappropriate language. That’s it! Note – topics will not immediately appear after submission until cleared for the rules above. We want everyone to have a pleasant blog experience.

Hurricane Evacuation Shelters

Hi Everyone,
As you know, Hurricane Milton is bearing down on us and should be here sometime late Wednesday evening..

Association Boards, It’s most important that you have a plan and are prepared for the inevitable, namely downed power lines, which means lost power which could be out for several days, trees blown down over the roads, major flooding, damage to buildings, etc.

If at all possible, I highly recommend that you make arrangements to evacuate as soon as possible to an area not affected by the path of the hurricane. If you don’t have a place to go or you are unable to leave the area, please review the first document below to find the nearest evacuation shelter near you. Call them first to make sure they are even open, or have availability.

It’s very important that you do what you can to prepare now. Look at the information below and try to prepare the best you can following the information provided. You can download these documents or just view them from here.

If you are Century Village resident and have no idea of what to do and you are worried, call me and I’ll advise you on the best course of action. I’ve been through many of these bad boys before, including living in Key Largo when Hurricane Andrew blew in! We’ll be fine as long as you take the steps necessary to be prepared.

If you are a Velocity Services Group customer, Rick has already contacted me to touch base to let us know we are on his radar. If you are not a Velocity customer already, once they have arrived and begun mitigating the damages to the associations  of their current customers, you can sign up with them and they will help you too.

Please see the post regarding the latest status of Velocity here:
