WELCOME!

My #1 PRIORITY IS TRANSPARENCY AND COMMUNICATION!

I created this blog for you, the residents of Century Village, to make your voices known! The goal of the blog is to make your compliments and concerns known to all. Give us your comments on topics that you would like discussed at Synergy Club meetings, issues you would like addressed by WPRF and/or UCO. Do you get the help you need? Are your questions answered? You are more than welcome to spread the blog link to all of your friends and family throughout the village to give them an opportunity to speak as well! The only rules are – no profanity, be respectful, no inappropriate language. That’s it! Note – topics will not immediately appear after submission until cleared for the rules above. We want everyone to have a pleasant blog experience.

Executive Board; Broadband Committee

Two plusses for Breezeline, minuses for CV’ers.
1. Credit for service outage. The burden of pproof is on the owner: “Owner must submit a written request to claim a Service Credit no later than ninety (90) days following the Service Outage which gives rise to Owner’s right to request the Service Credit. Failure to request an allowance within such period shall
constitute a waiver of any claim for a Service Credit.”
Many redsidents have diffficulty writing, much less getting to the B’line office.AI could automatically track outages and award creedit to affected custimers.
2. Rate table for TV does not inclide “government fees and taxes” Rate table for internet does not include “applicable fees”. Guess who determines “applicable”? The HiSpeed Network Recovery Fee has climbed from $2.50 in 2017 to over $19 in 2014. Supposedly to improve service – but Breezeline is already contracted to provide certain speeds for certain prices.Over $100,000 a month is leaving Century Village, going to Breezeline to fund expansion and attract new customers.

    1. Hi Anna, and thanks for your reply. There are several other companies that provide both TV and internet service in our area. You will always see companies displaying at the WPB Condo Expo’s at the Convention Center several times each year. UCO should request RFP’s from each of them as part of their due diligence prior to agreeing to any new TV or internet contracts. Remember, if they don’t, the delegates from every association
Board have the final say by voting no on any contract until this is done. Please pass these blog links to your board members to let them read about all of these important and impactful issues.
