Fellow members of UCO, lend me your ears! (But don’t worry, I’ll give them back—unlike some politicians who take things and never return them.) I stand before you today not just as a candidate but as a problem-solver, a peacekeeper, and a professional schmoozer—qualities every great Vice President should have.
Let’s break it down:
- Leadership & Experience? I’ve Got That in Spades!
For 16 years, I’ve been running my own association like a well-oiled machine. And for 25 years, I’ve been managing projects ranging from a modest $100,000 to a whopping $15 million—because whether it’s a small fix or a major operation, I know how to get things done on time, under budget, and with minimal casualties (usually just a few coffee spills).
- Teaching, Training, and Talking People Off Ledges
As a trainer, teacher, applications specialist, and workforce analyst, I’ve spent years helping people understand complex things—like software systems, workforce planning, and why “Ctrl+Alt+Del” isn’t a long-term IT strategy. More importantly, when customers were on the verge of revolt, I was the guy they sent in to smooth things over. If I can calm down an angry client whose million-dollar project just went sideways, imagine what I can do for UCO!

As the leader of the Synergy Club, I’ve given presentations, taught classes, and hosted workshops on association management—because let’s be honest, running an association sometimes feels like herding cats – with a PowerPoint presentation in one hand and a gavel in the other. I’ve also created video tutorials and advised other association boards on best practices.
- Military Service: From the Battlefield to the Boardroom
Now, let’s talk about the part of my résumé that involves high-stakes responsibility and nerves of steel. As a combat aviation veteran, I didn’t just work under pressure—I thrived in it. Whether it was soaring above the battlefield or making split-second decisions, I learned the value of discipline, teamwork, and not panicking when things explode nearby.
But my leadership didn’t stop in the cockpit. I also led and managed dozens of Military Policemen whose job was to keep our top generals in Europe safe—and, more importantly, make sure they didn’t wander off somewhere dangerous (because, let’s be real, sometimes generals get “great ideas” that require a reality check). Oh, and did I mention I was also responsible for protecting the nation’s nuclear arsenal? That’s right. While most people worry about losing their car keys, I was ensuring that nuclear weapons didn’t fall into the wrong hands. So yeah, I think I can handle organizing a few meetings and making sure our association runs smoothly!
